When we decided that we would visit Malaysia – I got reminded of 2 moments:
- My grandfather’s connect with Malaysia on how he set up his finance business in 1950
- ‘Malaysia – Truly Asia’ ad and its theme song!
ABOUT MALAYSIA
Since 1957, their motto has been ‘Unity is Strength‘. Being a multi-ethnic country, they have really stood by their motto and that shows in their country’s development as well!
5 Key steps to self-plan your Malaysia Vacation:
- On any given month you can visit Malaysia as the climate varies between the 2 regions (predominantly humid). We would need minimum 7 days to cover the key parts of Malaysia
- If travelling during Ramadan, just be cautious about restaurant and transportation timings
- e-Visa facility
Certain countries
need to apply for e-visa and their process is seamless via their official partner –Window Malaysia
- In 2020, both Chinese and Indian Nationals can avail the eNTRI – a Visa waiver program. Do not miss the 15 days free visa!
- Food – You name a cuisine, you get it!
- With such a proud cultural diversity in Malaysia, you do not need to worry about food – as it is plenty and at all locations!
- Right from established food joints to hawker food to instant food at 7-Eleven supermarkets (more than 2000 stores)
- Always prefer to drink from bottled water
- Plan your itinerary and mode of transportation
- Unlike Singapore, Malaysia has major tourist spots (like Genting Highland, Cameroon Highlands, Langkawi, Penang etc) scattered across different states and requires lot of travelling
- Within Kuala Lumpur, public transport (metro and buses) and taxis are very convenient
- Between cities/states, their roadways are fantastic and are well connected. Hire a SUV for a convenient travel with your family
- Unlike Singapore, Malaysia has major tourist spots (like Genting Highland, Cameroon Highlands, Langkawi, Penang etc) scattered across different states and requires lot of travelling
- Plan your Travel Policies, Mode of Currency and SIM Card

- Purchase your
SIM Cards
as soon as you land in Malaysia Airport. Select your pickup point and recharge plan.
