Singapore (Day 1) @ Little India

Hotel Stay : ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road (Little India)

DAY 1 – AFTERNOON:

Arrived at Singapore’s Changi International Airport. After collecting our travel bags, we purchased Sim Cards in the airport. In less than 5 minutes, we were into Singapore’s Mobile network – it was that easy to activate!

Took a 7-seater cab Airport Metered Taxi Services – from Singapore Airport to Little India – and reached ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road

Checked-in at Hotel and headed into our Quadruple Family Room.

Family rested till 5pm. Meanwhile, I collected NetsPlay Travel Card for my upcoming Metro rides (at discounted fares)

DAY 1 – EVENING:

Visited the 2 famous temples in Little India:

1. Srinivasa Perumal Temple (15 mins)
2. Veerma Kaliamman Temple (15 mins)

After worship, we took a stroll to get accustomed to the locality.

DAY 1 – NIGHT:

Relished our Non-Veg dinner at Sakunthala’s (3 mins walk from our Hotel) – diagonally opposite to Mustafa Shopping Centre

There are lot of Veg. restaurant near the Hotel:

1. Ananda Bhavan Vegetarian
2. Kailash Parbat
3. Murugan Idli Shop

Mustafa Shopping Centre is open for 24 hours (Don't forget GST Refunds!). So, you can go for shopping or rest at Hotel. Tomorrow we are going to explore Chinatown and experience the famous Singapore Night Safari!
